About this category
This award recognises an individual whose career has made a lasting contribution to accountancy and finance on the Isle of Man, through their work, leadership, mentoring or service to professional bodies. Judges look for the depth and breadth of the contribution.
Eligibility
Open to accountants and finance professionals with at least fifteen years of work connected to the Isle of Man. Usually nominated by others.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures such as growth, efficiency, client retention, exam results or audit outcomes, and, where possible, comments from clients, managers or colleagues. Client names and confidential figures can be left out or given as ranges, and nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Entrants must live or work on the Isle of Man, or work for an organisation with a substantial presence on the island. Judges consider the size of every firm and team, so a sole practitioner competes on equal terms with a large practice.
